What is the purpose of the firm? Why are we here? We got into this business to help our friends, family and businesses in our community. We believe that we exist to help our clients earn more and keep more of what they earn.

Our primary focus is on the latter part of that statement “to keep more of what they earn” through tax planning and compliance. Our client’s biggest expense other than payroll is usually the tax that they pay. Our purpose is to help reduce that tax burden. In addition, our responsibility to our clients goes beyond just reducing their tax but also to avoid penalties from underpaying their tax.

To “help our clients earn more” is a more complicated purpose. We may increase their revenue or we can help them increase their bottom line. As our clients most trusted advisor, we can guide our clients to set up systems and processes to be both effective and efficient. Why wouldn’t we want to help our clients succeed? When our clients succeed, we succeed as a firm.

We will serve our clients to the best of our ability. Profit will follow how well we serve. Mistakes may be made, especially as we grow and have to change our processes or methods. Those mistakes will be forgotten quickly as we focus on serving and see results.

We offer Tax Compliance, Business Consulting, Accounting and Payroll Services. We are committed to helping you succeed. Offering a full line of products and services to keep you current, we work hard to help you keep what you’ve earned.

You can make an appointment, or just drop off your tax documents. We scan and store your documents into our system, then assign the project to a staff member.

Our trained staff prepare your returns and may call or email you for additional information or clarification.

The reviewing CPA reviews the prepared return, identifies areas that need correction, then determines when the return is ready to be finalized.

The return is submitted for processing, prepared for client pick-up. After it's finalized, the return is reviewed one more time.

Why does it take so long?

We take the time necessary to prepare a complete and accurate return. Treating every client like they are our only client takes time, but we believe that we add value to our relationship when we work hard to help you keep the money you have worked hard to earn.

Who prepares my return?

Our process minimizes mistakes by allowing trained tax associates to prepare returns, and then having experienced CPA’s review the return, not once, but twice, before it’s considered complete.

Will filing an extension trigger an audit or increase the likelihood of penalties?

No. If you have paid enough as of April 15th, the extension is merely an administrative tool to give the taxpayer more time to file a complete and accurate return. It can actually help reduce the accuracy related Sec. 6662 penalty.
